
Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a dynamic combat sport that blends techniques from various disciplines, most notably wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and kickboxing/Muay Thai, into a complete and highly effective fighting system. Over the past 15 years, MMA has surged in global popularity and is now one of the most widely practiced and watched martial arts in the Western world.
Time, Place and Trainers
At Radbudo, we offer two association MMA classes per week, each with a distinct focus:
- Tuesday, 20:30 – 22:00 (association) | Trainer Mees Coppelmans focuses on integrating kickboxing, clinching, and wrestling techniques to create fluid stand-up and takedown transitions.
- Wednesday, 18:30 – 20:00 (course)
- Friday, 18:30 – 20:00 (association) | Trainer Jan Schering dives into the ground game, combining BJJ, wrestling, and ground-and-pound techniques to control and dominate opponents on the mat.
All trainings are conventionally given at EOS – Z01.510
