Radbudo, founded in the fall of 2023 by merger of NSMMAV Kaizen and NSJV Zanshin, is the Nijmegen martial arts association for students of Radboud University and the HAN. We organize advanced training for various martial arts, following the courses of Radboud Sport & Culture (RSC). Currently you can join us for training in BJJ, Japanese Jiujitsu and MMA.
In addition to being a sports club, Radbudo is also a social club. We regularly organize sporting and social activities, such as joint martial arts viewing, game nights, step nights, outings and an annual camp.
Last month Radbudo participated in the Radboud Intro. Both at the intro market and the sports days, many people were able to get an impression of the sports we offer at Radbudo and the people that are involved.๐ฅ๐คผ
Through rotations during the sports day all three disciplines, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu were on display. On the intro market, at BJJ, there was even a big prize if you could submit our coach Jan.๐ฅต๐ตโ๐ซ

Over the past few months, Radbudo has been putting in work on the competition mats! ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Our athletes represented the team at several tournaments, including Nijmegen Open 2026, Grapple City Rotterdam, and RAMM Fighting Series 3.

The 1st edition of the Radbudo Weekend was a hit!๐๐ฑ
With close to 20 signups, a diverse range of activities, including some martial arts ofcourse, and a pirate theme, everyone had a blast.๐ดโโ ๏ธ๐ฅ

Martial Arts Day 2026 is a wrap! ๐ฅ๐ช
With 200+ workshop registrations across 13 different disciplines, it was a massive day for both newcomers and experts alike. ๐ฅ๐ฅ
A huge thank you to all the instructors, volunteers, and @radboudsportencultuur for making it happen! We were especially excited to introduce Wrestling with @worstelclubnijmegenoost ๐คผ and Ninjutsu with @bujinkansakudojo ๐ฅท to this year's roster.

Flipped the script (and the board) with @tussendetorens with our insane chessboxing eventโ๏ธ๐ฅ. Hardest part? Remembering that the Kingโs Indian Attack apparently doesn't actually involve throwing a punch. 10/10 for the workout, 0/10 for my opening theory.
